Tanzania Livelihood Skills Development and Advocacy FOUNDATION
Who we are
TALISDA Foundation was founded in 2007 by a group of befriended and committed citizens that shared a vision. It is a non-profit organisation, officially registered by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children. Since then we have been constantly developing and professionalizing, building up a dedicated and qualified team.
Our Mission
The salient task of TALISDA Foundation is to empower vulnerable community members, including orphans; children in unsafe, unstable situations; widows and people living with disability or HIV/Aids.
We want to facilitate them to acquire skills that will enhance their capacities to participate in poverty reduction, decision-making and development endeavours.
Aiming for that, we collaborate with local government authorities and other stakeholders at all levels.
Additionally, we want to increase awareness in public for their every-day challenges.
So that finally the well-being of the local communities and the Tanzanian people as a whole is improved.
